Homeschool Cooking WORKSHOPS!
Monthly events that feature professional cooking instructors! We take kids through HANDS-ON culinary experiences that support a well-rounded education, independent living skills, and personal confidences as they make math, science and cultural connections while creating delicious dishes!
Topics of experience include:
- knife skills, measurements and conversions
- ServSafe food handling and sanitizing practices
- herb /spice / ingredient identification
LIMITED CLASS SIZES (ages 6 - 16, divided into peer groups, all skill levels welcome)
Registration and Pre-Payment REQUIRED to secure your spot.
(Payment can be made online or in our office)
*Due to the nature of our advance investment in each event (securing ingredients per child and scheduling staff for safety ratios), refunds cannot be offered if absent for any reason. You may to transfer your spot to another guest in such case. Thank you for understanding our investment in your commitment.
Tuition Fees:
$40 plus tax per 3-hour class
Includes 3 hours of professional instruction, lunch entrée, drinks, science experiments and outdoor activities or gardening with our farm animals (hens and piggie!)
