Baking Class for KIDS!

Ages 8-12

Calling all BAKERS!

Join us to practice:

-       Baking skills

-       Decorating techniques

-       Measurements and conversions

-       ServSafe food handling practices

-       Equipment and ingredient identification

-       Proper kitchen management skills

…and you get to TASTE your creations in this professional but FUN practice setting.

 

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS ONLY

 

As a team, or individually, students will bake and taste their recipes in each class!

Wednesday nights, 5:30– 7:30 pm


Tuition:     $165/month plus tax  ~ $45 plus tax drop in rate 

(Includes professional instruction,  all foods, drinks and recipes)

 

CULINARY KIDS

Special Needs Cooking Class

Ages 10 - Adult

All-Ability Class

designed for people with special needs.

Developmental ages 10 - adult, divided into peer groups. Students cook, assemble, serve and enjoy a different recipe at each class. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with notice.

Led by certified Para Professionals, this class practices:

- kitchen safety

-independent life skills

- social skills

- cooking techniques

Parents' Night Out

Ages 5 and up - 3 hour movie themed dinner party!

PARENTS' NIGHT OUT!

Drop off the kids for a 3-hour, movie themed dinner/dessert/pajama party!

Kids bring blankets and pillows for carpet time and enjo a mini cooking class as they make their dinner, desserts and snacks with our teachers!

Ages 5 - 12

Advanced Cooking Class for Kids

HOLIDAY WORKSHOP


Local Chefs and cooking instructors take older kids through a detailed course of Holiday Themed dishes and teach culinary skills including:

-       knife skills

-       measurements and conversions

-       ServSafe food handling practices

-       herb /spice / ingredient identification

-       palette expansion

-       first-aid in the kitchen

…and MORE in a detailed and deliberate practice setting.  

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS ONLY

As a team, or individually, students will make dishes to sample in each class.

Forget the box mix and chemical-filled tubs of frosting....let's do this right.

Learn and create 4 different varieties of cupcakes from scratch with 4 different home-made frostings!

Once learning, these recipes can translate at home into cakes, bundts, cake pops and more!


Chef Clare Reding will be teaching scratch recipes for:
