Ages 10 - adult

All-Ability Class

designed for people with special needs.

Developmental ages 10 - adult, divided into peer groups. Students cook, assemble, serve and enjoy a different recipe at each class. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with notice.

Led by certified Para Professionals, this class practices:

- kitchen safety

-independent life skills

- social skills

- cooking techniques

Summer Camp

SUMMER CAMP DATES 2020:

Hours: 9 am – 3 pm, (8-5 extended care available)

Ages 5 -12, divided into peer groups

Weekly rates include all meals and drinks $335/wk ($75 ext care)

Single Day rates available, $75/day ONLY during the last 2 weeks of summer.

Kids cook breakfast, lunch and snacks and enjoy a full day of planned science experiments, indoor and outdoor play, arts, crafts, games and special guest visitors!

 

May 25 - 29:  Cooking with the Classics

KIDS Celebrate the world of classic books and stories in our kitchen! We’ll make Harry Potter’s Huffle Pizza Puffs with Butter Beer, Percy Jackson’s Minotaur Sliders and BLUE chocolate chip cookies (that detail is found ONLY in the actual book!) Charlotte’s Web nachos, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid Grilled “Cheese Touch” Sandwiches. Imagination and fun with new literary surprises every day as we bring books to life in our kitchen!

 

June 1 – June 5:  Disney Days

Be our guest ! Make Captain Hook’s pirate ship breakfast boats, and Elsa’s glittered sensory snow to take home and share with your family!  Try Coco’s marigold banana pancakes and Monsters, Inc. moon pies! Create a Zooptia dessert….bear claw brownies! Have fun with Finding Nemo (and Dory of course),  Inside Out, Ratatouille themes & MUCH more!

 

June 8 - 12:   Mad Science

Will an egg float in salt water? What about sugar, or baking soda? Turn an egg into a bouncy ball, make kitchen quicksand, explode sodas and mints (which one works the best?). Oozy volcanoes, exploding marshmallows, all included in this wacky week of mad kitchen science! We play with our food and get to EAT the EXPERIMENTS! Kids get to create the perfect stuffed pancakes, make meatball subs on a stick, melt edible confetti into breakfast scones and much more! Sure to be a delicious mess!

 

June 15 - 19 :   Game On!

Fortnight themed food fun, tossed with some old-school Minecraft,  Plants vs Zombies AND classics like Mario Smash Bros, Monopoly and more….a full range of games through the years will be brought to life in our kitchen. A cookie cake Candyland board is fun to play AND eat. Minecraft creepers made from green rice krispies can battle with oozy zombie pizzas and green pea catapult shooters! Create your own health elixir or Fortnite slurp-juice to build something delicious! We turn favorite games into foods to play with and enjo

Beginner Cooking Class for ages 7-10

Join our Teaching Chef and her team to practice:

- Cooking and Baking skills

- Plating and Decorating techniques

- Measurements and conversions

- ServSafe food handling practices

- Equipment and ingredient identification

- Proper kitchen management skills

…and you get to EAT your creations in this professional but FUN practice setting.

 

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS ONLY

As a team, students will cook, bake and enjoy their recipes in each class!

Wednesday nights, 5:30– 7:30 pm

Tuition: $165/month plus tax ~ $45 plus tax drop in rate

Summer Camps are EXTENDING

With the change in School Start Dates moving to Sept 8th, we have opened additonal camp weeks to cover your childcare needs with a SAFE, EDCUATIONAL option in our small groups. Space is LIMITED, so parents are encouraged to save their spot now (which can be held now, and then confirmed once the start date is firmly defined). No deposit required until school start dates are firmly defined.

These weeks are available:

August 10 - 14   Holidays of the YearKids get to experience holidays of the year in this wacky end of summer celebration! Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween…. all rolled up into August! Candy Cane pancake art designs, downhome family-style apple pies, creepy hot dog mummies and SO MUCH MORE…kids will come home with new holiday games, crafts, recipes and traditions for you to enjoy all year long!

August 17 - 21    Time Travellers :  Our time machine brings us back to caveman days…and we’ll cook our way through time! From TRUE hot chocolate, the way the Aztecs invented it, all the way to the 1950’s diner-style root beer floats and homemade crystal burger sliders! Ancient Roman pesto sauces, Medieval stuffed chicken roulades, and homemade pasta ravioli born during the Renaissance. We’ll host a Western pioneer COOK OFF COMPETITION with homemade chili and corn bread while we sleep under the stars making creative marshmallow constellations! Finish the week with chocolate millennial moon pies and astronaut ice cream before charting the course back to 2020!
