SUMMER CAMP!

Kids ages 4 -12 get to make their own breakfast, lunch and snacks in our week-long camps!

We feature varied themes each week (see details below) and will have a blast with MESSY kitchen science experiments, arts and crafts, games and indoor and outdoor time in our play yards with our resident chickens and pot-bellied pig!

9am-3pm (extended care available 8-5)

$350/week plus tax includes all ingredients, meals, drinks, snacks and supplies!

Aug 11, 12, and 13:  Holidays of the Year

(ages 4 and up)

Single Day rates available, $80/day plus tax

Kids get to experience holidays of the year in this wacky end of summer celebration! Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween…. all rolled up into August! Candy Cane pancake art designs, downhome family-style apple pies, creepy hot dog mummies and SO MUCH MORE…kids will come home with new holiday games, crafts, recipes and traditions for you to enjoy all year long!

A FEW SCHOOLS ARE STILL OUT FOR SUMMER!

By request we have opened an additional LATE CAMP week for those who need us! Kids will explore crazy kitchen science experiments while making their own breakfast, lunch and snacks.

* Picky eater? We’ll work on that! In the meantime, kids are welcome to bring snacks along if they need that security…we don’t mind!

* NO PEANUTS? No Problem! Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with ADVANCED notice.

Cooking Class for Kids

FALL SESSION: AUG 12 - DEC 16

Ages 6-16

Local Chefs and cooking instructors take older kids through a detailed course of beginner culinary skills including:

-       introductory knife skills

-       measurements and conversions

-       sanitary food handling practices and proper equipment cleaning

-       herb /spice / ingredient identification

-       palette expansion

-       first-aid in the kitchen

…and MORE in a detailed and deliberate practice setting.  

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS ONLY

As a team, or individually, students will make a dish to sample in each class.


TUESDAY nights, 5:30 - 7:30pm 

Fees:

$175/month (4 classes) plus tax

 $50 plus tax one-time "Try It"  rate

Payments due by the 1st of each month to secure your child's spot in class.

STUDENTS CAN JOIN ANYTIME (tuition may be prorated if joining mid-quarter)

To prevent confusion regarding varying numbers of weeks in each month, or holidays when our office is closed, we group our classes and tuition into blocks of 4 classes per payment.

ALL-Ability Classes

Designed for people with Special Needs!

Ages 10 - ADULT (Developmental and Actual Ages)

Students cook, assemble and enjoy a different recipe at each class.

Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Led by Certified Para Professionals, this class practices:

• Kitchen safety
• Independent life skills
• Social skills
• Cooking techniques

Thursday nights

5:30 – 7:30 pm

Young Adults ages 10 through adult.

Students are divided into social peer groups.

Monthly Tuition: $175 plus tax ($190.23)  

(per 4 weeks, charged before the 1^st of each month)

Single Class Rate: $50 plus tax (54.36)

Parents, and aides are welcome to stay if desired.

Culinary Kids welcomes ALL levels of ability for Birthday Parties, field trips and events!
