Advanced Cooking Class for Kids

Ages 10 - 16

Local Chefs and cooking instructors take older kids through a detailed course of culinary skills including:

-       knife skills

-       measurements and conversions

-       ServSafe food handling practices

-       herb /spice / ingredient identification

-       palette expansion

-       first-aid in the kitchen

…and MORE in a detailed and deliberate practice setting.  

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS ONLY

As a team, or individually, students will make a dish to sample in each class.

(full meals NOT always provided due to the focused nature of the coursework)

Choose either MONDAY or TUESDAY nights, 5:30 - 7:30pm 

Fees:$165/month plus tax  ~ $45 plus tax drop in rate


* Celebration Dinner– additional fee required to participate in our end of session showcase dinner, hosted by our students, serving their families!

…and you get to EAT your creations in this professional but FUN practice setting.

As a team, students will cook, bake and enjoy their recipes in each class!

Wednesday nights, 5:30– 7:30 pm

Designed for people with Special Needs!

Ages 10 - adult (developmental ages)

Students get their own prep tables and cooking stations!

Weekly classes, THURSDAYS 5:30 - 7:30pm

$165 /month

Includes full meals, drinks, private instruction and social skill activities in a one-on-one mentoring setting.

Join us to practice independent living skills, social skills, kitchen safety and confidence in the kitchen!

Summer 2021 (select Saturdays, 3 - 4:30 pm, see schedule below) 

Learn techniques like cookie painting, lacing, flooding, shading, make royal icings and much more in this introductory summer class!

LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS ONLY ages 10 – 18 (or so…)

This class curriculum BUILDS on technique from one class to the next. If possible, it’s advisable to take all classes to learn and practice compounding techniques, culminating in a final COOKIE BAKE-OFF testing the skills learned along the way!

Select SATURDAYS, 3:00- 4:30 pm:

June 12 – Galaxy Cookies

June 19 – Beach/Ocean Cookies

July 10 – Hand-Painted Cookies

July 31 – Cookie Bake-Off Competition

EACH class features different techniques and lessons

Curriculum includes baking cookies together, decorating some pre-baked or pre-flooded cookies, and creating our own icing recipes! We provide equipment, but 

if you have supplies you’d like to bring and test out, please do!

TUITION FEES: Full 4-week class session, $165 plus tax ~ Single Class Rate, $55 plus tax 

ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE….so we can prepare your ingredients. Due to the nature of extensive class preparations, cancellations require 1 week notice, no refunds or credits available (reservation CAN be transferred to another participant).
